In 1983 Atari decided to bury 12 truckloads of merchandise and even covered it with cement to prevent scavengers from getting to the merchandise. In 2014 the City of Alamogordo Excavated the site and retrieved many of those games. Most of these were sent to Museums to display and a select few have been released to the public! This is 1 of those that have been released to the public, with a certificate of authenticity from the city AND certified by WATA!
